How it works
Initial consultation
In initial consultations, I don’t say, “tell me about yourself!”
Instead, I’ll guide you through some helpful prompts that will help us both understand if you’re ready for coaching, what kind of coaching you might need, and if I’m the right coach for you.
If we’re a good fit and you’re ready, we begin tailoring a plan for how frequently we meet, how long our sessions will be, and what we’ll focus on.
Perhaps you need a plan and accountability for a goal you have. Maybe you need help workshopping your next career move. Possibly what you yearn for are some gentle but firm nudges out of the patterns that aren’t serving your mind and body. All of those things require different types of coaching and my coaching toolbox is full of different ways to guide you.
It’s my job to figure out what those things are; all you need to do is show up ready to dig in.

Session formats
In our current world, all sessions are remote. I’ve been working and coaching remotely for years because I love the accessibility it provides to folks who may not otherwise have the physical ability, time, or proximity to meet with a coach in person. While I live on occupied Wôpanâak (Wampanoag), Nahaganset, and Pokanoket land (also referred to as Providence, RI) I currently have clients across North America and the UK; whatever your time zone, I work hard to make our connections as deep as possible in virtual conditions.
Some folks prefer to use the default format, Zoom (or any number of other virtual formats), while others prefer to meet via phone so they can move around while we talk.
Frequency and cadence
Most clients prefer to start out meeting for an hour once a week for the first few sessions; some keep it that way while others decide to have a different cadence and length of time. We typically begin to figure that out during the initial consultation and first appointment.
Scheduling
Scheduling is so easy! You can book your appointment at your convenience and you don’t need to wait for a confirmation. You’ll get an appointment with location details automatically added to your calendar and a reminder before your appointment.
You can book sessions at a regular time so we have a standing appointment, or you can book at your convenience to work around your schedule. I try to keep my availability as flexible as I’m able. If you really, really need a time that’s not on the calendar, I can occasionally make exceptions/move things but can’t guarantee that I’ll be available.
